Picking up your rental car at Kef International Airport

Please look for the car rental shuttle service sign once you clear customs at Keflavik International Airport. The Car Rental shuttle service will bring you over to our delivery office which is the second stop on it‘s route. We are partnered with Blue Car Rental who will be the provider of your rental car. You can find our delivery office by our Zero Car sign as well as the Blue Express sign. Please enter our delivery office to find our keybox and pick up your car with your keycode.

How do I get the shuttle bus to Zero Car Rental?

Address: Blikavöllur 3, 235 Keflavík Airport

Shuttle hours: 05:00–18:00 (every ~15 minutes)

After 18:00: Walk to our delivery office (3–4 minutes from departures side)

Cost: Picking up from our airport office is free of charge
 

Pick-Up: How it works

1. After customs, go outside to the Car Rental Shuttle stop (next to Flybus Parking).
2. Ride to the Rental Car Area; Blue Car Rental is the second stop on the route.
3. Shuttle schedule: 05:00–18:00, departures about every 15 minutes.
4. After 18:00: Exit the terminal on the departures side and walk across the parking lot to Blikavöllur 3 (about 3–4 minutes).
5. Speed things up: complete online check-in before you arrive for a faster handover.

Dropping off your rental car at Kef International Airport

Dropping off a rental car has never been easier. Please approach a delivery agent at Blue Car Rental. They will have a quick look at the car and check the fuel status with you. Please make sure to fill up before returning your car. With Zero Car you have full coverage with Zero Excess ensuring a hassle free drop off. 

Your rental will be provided with at least a 70% charge and must be returned with the same level. A fee of 25,000 ISK will apply if returned below 70%. Charging stations are widely available across Iceland, making it easy to recharge along your route.

Accidents happen though! And in that case, please let the staff at Blue Car Rental know about it so they can have it fixed before the next rental. Once done, the car rental shuttle service will bring you over to the airport.
