Our cancellation policy depends on the type of booking you choose:
Refundable Bookings: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your rental, you receive a full refund (100%). However, if you cancel on the day of your rental or fail to show up, the entire rental amount will be charged.
Pay-on-Arrival Bookings: These bookings do not fall under our cancellation policy, and therefore, refunds are not applicable.
Should I rent a 4x4 in Iceland?
If you're visiting Iceland in winter or planning to drive in the Highlands, a 4x4 or all-wheel-drive (AWD) vehicle is highly recommended. Many F-roads require 4WD, and having extra traction helps ensure a safe and comfortable drive in changing road conditions. Our Roadside assistance, included in the price, covers for accidents in the highlands too or in winter around the country.
What’s the difference between a 2WD and 4WD rental in Iceland?
